COVID-19 good practices

If you want to visit us, know that we are taking all necessary precautions to keep our home clean and safe. Your and our health, safety and well-being will always come first!

We have the “Clean & Safe” seal, in which we commit to comply with all standards of Turismo de Portugal and the Directorate-General for Health, always following the evolution of the Coronavirus.

We are located in a rural and family environment

Involved with nature, among the centuries-old vineyards, orange and olive trees

We provide an exclusive service and proximity to our guests

However, we have adopted several security measures for COVID – 19 according to the Directorate-General for Health (DGS) and the World Health Organization (WHO).

Accommodation

We have reduced the maximum accommodation capacity to a maximum of 10 rooms, with the possibility of exclusivity for groups.

We privilege the use of outdoor spaces with the creation of new environments, for example, picnic areas and other leisure spaces.

We simplify the check-in and check-out process, maintaining attention to the needs of our guests upon arrival and during their stay, privileging contact via electronic means and / or personal phone via written messages (+351 962 274 290 ( WhatsApp) | +351 253 993 460)

Whenever possible, guests will preferably be accommodated in a room that has not been occupied the night before.

Casa Lata’s team will be properly protected, using their personal protective equipment.

We provide hand sanitizer in several common areas of the house, access points, toilets, dining area.

We offer an individual protection kit to our guests. The use of a mask in an enclosed space is mandatory.

We defined an isolation room equipped according to the directions of the Directorate-General for Health, in case of any suspected COVID-19.

Cancellation Policies

Flexible cancellation policy: in case of cancellation of reservations due to Coronavirus, there will be no charge, as long as informed up to 7 days before the check-in date, except promotions.

Cleaning and Disinfection

Disposal of alcohol-based hand sanitizer, available at several frequent access points.

Reinforcement of hygiene procedures in all spaces and accommodation units, using disinfectant products with proven effectiveness in eliminating the virus.

Reinforcement of cleaning and disinfection measures, throughout the day, of the materials and equipment existing in the accommodation units and common spaces, with a special focus on points of high contact.

Regular ventilation of all spaces in the house, in order to avoid turning on the air conditioning.

Elimination of some contact elements and difficult disinfection of accommodation units and common spaces (bedspreads and decorative pillows in the rooms)

All of our textiles are washed in an industrial laundry that complies with all hygiene standards and rigor in the elimination of any type of virus.

The cleaning team will be properly protected with appropriate personal protective equipment.

Guests may or may not opt ​​for the daily cleaning service (held until 3 pm)

Breakfast service

We favor the breakfast service outside, whenever possible, and / or in one of our 2 dining rooms with direct access to the outside.

The breakfast service will be served individually (per table).

Between each use, cleaning and disinfection of the areas used by guests in their meal is carried out.

Activities / Experiences

Wine tasting will be carried out individually and preferably in areas outside, or with ventilation and direct access to the outside.

We have created areas to provide picnics in the open air.
